Barbara D. Penhall has been working in the field of public accountancy for over 45 years.  In 1975, she decided to pursue a career in the accounting field and for the first 13 years of her career, she prepared and reviewed income tax returns at a CPA firm and maintained accounting records for a number of businesses.  

In 1989, Barbara began working at an Austin CPA firm and five years later, she became a partner.  During her 12 years at Rupert & Penhall, CPAs, she was managing the tax department, training tax preparers, reviewing the work of others in the firm and preparing high level business, estate, trust and individual tax returns.  She worked with small businesses as an advisor and consultant and gained experience working in the government and non-profit sectors.  

In the fall of 2001, Barbara opened her own firm located in Kyle, Texas.  Her loyal clients are located throughout the Austin Metroplex area and throughout the United States.  The firm has grown over time and now has a broad mix of individual clients as well as business clients in many sectors of the economy including wholesale, real estate, and service industries. 

Barbara welcomes the opportunity to work with individuals, as well as start-ups and established businesses.  In 2016, Barbara was honored by the Kyle Chamber of Commerce to have her business nominated for "Best Small Business of the year."
